Undergraduate Advising

There are two levels of undergraduate advising for Penn State engineering students. The Engineering Advising Center (EAC) primarily serves as the academic advising resource for students in pre-major status (ENGR) at University Park.

Undergraduates who have been admitted into the aerospace engineering major and who have a AERO classification will be assigned an adviser and notified. The undergraduate academic office is located in 229 Hammond Building.

Every semester before registration begins, all aerospace engineering students are encouraged to meet with their adviser. Advisers are generally available on a walk-in basis during posted office hours. Students may also ask questions and schedule appointments by telephone or email. If you’re having difficulty finding a time when you and your adviser are both available, please contact the department’s undergraduate programs assistant.
