Welcome to the Graduate Program in the Department of Aerospace Engineering. The department has 15 full-time, tenured or tenure track faculty in many different research areas in Aerospace Engineering. In addition, we have several emeritus professors and adjunct professors from Penn State's Applied Research Laboratory, who teach courses and advise graduate students. We have three different graduate degrees that are available. At the Master's degree level, there is the Master of Science (M.S.) and the Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) degrees. We also have a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree. Our graduate population is around 75 (mostly full-time) graduate students, with approximately 2/3 enrolled in one of the Master's degree programs, and the remainder enrolled in the Ph.D. program.

More details about our various degree programs, minors, courses, financial aid, and our graduate program guide can be found through this web site. Additionally, information about what is necessary to apply for entry into the graduate program can also be accessed from this web site.

I also encourage prospective students to use this web site as a portal to find out more information about the different research areas our faculty are involoved in, and to feel free to contact any of our faculty whose research interests align with yours.
